Local citation history
When you add citations to the citation list, the website stores that list in your browser's local storage. This keeps your citation list available after a page refresh.

Third-party metadata services
When you enter a DOI or PMID, the tool may request public citation metadata from third-party services such as Crossref and NCBI PubMed. These requests are used to fill citation fields automatically.
Do not enter private medical information, patient information, or confidential research data into the citation generator.
